The New Orleans chapter of Slow Food will meet on Monday, February 18, 7p at the Hollygrove Market & Farm, 8301 Olive Street. Join us and become involved in the many activities we have planned for March, that include:
- Slow Food Lenten Fish Fry on March 8 at the Grow Dat Youth Farm in City Park with NYC’s Moscow 57
- The Vendy Awards on March 13
- Brooklyn Brewery’s Slow Supper with Dinner Lab on March 17
- Edible School Yard Edible Evening on March 21
We will also discuss plans for Ark of Taste activities that include developing the Snail of Approval program and organizing tasting tours of neighborhoods. Finally, we will begin planning the Slow Food tent at the Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo and one other very important event that will soon be announced.
